Best Rate Guarantee
Kempinski guarantees that the rates quoted on www.kempinski.com will not be underbid by another qualifying offer available at Kempinski hotels worldwide. If you find a cheaper available offer within 24 hours after booking in accordance with the following terms and conditions, Kempinski hotels will honour it.
1) You have booked your stay at a Kempinski hotel on www.kempinski.com
2) You find and report to us a lower published and available rate for the booked hotel, the same room and bed type, the same date(s) and the same number of guests (“Comparison Rate”) within 24 hours of receipt of the booking confirmation.
3) The booking conditions of the Comparison Rate (e.g. advance payments and deposits, change and cancellation policies) must comply with the booking conditions of the rate booked on the Kempinski web site.
4) The Comparison Rate must be viewable and bookable online.
5) You report the found cheaper offer to us by submitting the online claim form: www.kempinski.com/BARclaim
6) You provide evidence regarding the Comparison Rate to the booked hotel at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
7) The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to the following:
a) Rates from “opaque providers” such as Priceline.com and Hotwire.com which only give the buyer detailed information relating to available hotel rooms after the buyer has guaranteed payment. The information given prior to the guaranteed payment may not include any of the following information: Name/precise location/brand or flag affiliation of the respective hotel or any other specific information that may divulge the hotelīs identity (e.g. name of the hotel restaurant)
b) Any kind of package rates which include the room and other components besides a breakfast such as travel, car rental, dinner etc.
c) Rates that are not publicly available, such as negotiated corporate or group rates or convention rates
d) Rates quoted in direct mail or electronic mail solicitations
e) Rates offered only to members of certain groups or individuals who meet previously-specified criteria, such as members of associations or special programs
f) Rates that are available on auction web sites
g) Rates that are valid for stays extending beyond twenty (20) nights
h) Pre-paid rates that involve a voucher
8) Rate comparison will be made net of any taxes, gratuities or any other fees associated with the room rate. Fees for the reservations made online will however be included in the rate comparison.
9) If the Comparison Rate is in a different currency from the Kempinski rate, staff members of Kempinski will convert the Comparison Rate into the same currency as the rate offered on the Kempinski web site. The currency exchange rate to be applied will be based on the exchange rate at the time of making the original reservation on the Kempinski web site.
10) If a multiple night stay is booked, the average rate of each night is evaluated and this average rate is compared with the average rate evaluated for the Comparison Rate.
11) The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to existing reservations which were made through a non-Kempinski channel. Kempinski and the respective hotel is not responsible for any fees or other costs incurred due to cancellation of such a reservation.
12) The Best Rate Guarantee is void where prohibited by law.
13) Kempinski Hotels and Resorts reserves the right to adjust or cease the Best Rate Guarantee at any time without prior notice.
