The four-course Good Fortune Set (SGD 118++ per person) showcases classic dishes meticulously prepared with premium ingredients. Toss to an abundant year with the Salmon Yu Sheng with gold foil, before going for the rich, comforting Double-boiled Chicken Consommé with ginseng, dried scallops, red dates and quail eggs. The Baked Garlic Cheese Cod Fish seamlessly combines a mildly sweet cod fillet with a delicious garlic cheese sauce, and the Abalone Glutinous Rice wrapped in bamboo leaf promises a hearty and satisfying flavour in every bite. End the meal on a sweet note with the crowd favourite of Taro Mousse, served with chestnuts, ginkgo nuts and sweet corn, symbolising a sweet, smooth sailing year ahead.
Impress guests with the six-course Prosperity Blooming Set (SGD 168++ per person). Toss to prosperity with the Abalone Yusheng before making your way to the 10-head Abalone Double-boiled Chicken Consommé with black garlic and dried scallops. Herald in good luck with a Glazed Teriyaki Cod Fish and Glazed Pork Prime Rib – with tender ribs covered in a refreshing glace made of sour plum, hawthorn and tangerine peel. The Braised Sea Cucumber with Sea Moss, symbolising abundant wealth, is a must-have during Lunar New Year reunion meals, while the Crispy Rice in seafood broth provides the ultimate fresh, umami decadence. Wrap up the New Year celebrations with a refreshing Aloe Vera Lemongrass Jelly with fresh fruits and peach gum.

For Lunar New Year celebrations happening at home, re-create the hotel’s signature dining experience with fuss-free takeaways. Toss to a year of abundance and prosperity with The Capitol Kempinski Yu Sheng Platter, featuring fresh salmon sashimi and can be further customised with add-on options, including Yellow Tail Fish, Hokkaido Scallop, Boston Lobster and Sliced Abalone.
