Our first edition of the 2025 Cattani Collection celebrates cuisine from one of the original cantons of Switzerland – Uri.
The setting of the evening of 4th April 2025 dates back to 1799 when General Rosenberg arrived in Altdorf in canton Uri with 6000 men. Rendering his name to this location in the heart of Switzerland at an altitude of 475, Pinot Noir, Diolinoir, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay grow on the slopes of the former Capuchin monastery.
Today, Manuel Tresch, the passionate host and winemaker at the winery Rosenberg runs the wine cellar and daily operations of the restaurant Zwyssighaus in Bauen, Uri. Together with Joschua Lüscher, Chef of Zwyssighaus, Executive Chef of Kempinski Palace Engelberg Andrea Magnano takes our guests on a 4 hands culinary expedition from one of Switzerland’s founding cantons of the old Swiss Confederation. Uri is known for its popular and beloved Grandma’s recipes, that are currently making a comeback on the Swiss culinary scene – Älplermagrone, Hafächabis or Italian-inspired Urner Rispso, curious taste buds will find reason to pause for an ambrosial meal at Cattani Restaurant this spring.
