In her role as Chief Human Resources Officer for Kempinski Hotels, Karin Raguin oversees all aspects of human resource management including talent management and acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, succession planning, labour laws and relations, compliance, learning and development and social impact, thus ensuring Kempinski is a global leader and first choice for top-tier talent.
With a career spanning over 20 years in Human Resources in the luxury goods and fashion industry, Karin previously held the esteemed position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources for LVMH in China. Based in Shanghai since 2022, Karin led a robust team of over 35 department heads across the Human Resources vertical. Additionally, Karin was a member of the LVMH Global Tech Board, a project team focused on leveraging data and systems to transform Human Resources.
Previously, Karin held other prestigious roles within LVMH including Vice President, Talent Management and Corporate Social Responsibility at LVMH North America in New York City and Global Head of Career Management for LVMH, based in Paris. Karin also served as VP, Global Talent for Christian Dior Couture, based in Paris.
Karin holds a Master of Human Resources from ISC Paris and is a Member of the International Strategic Committee at ISC Paris. She started her career as a social worker and social entrepreneur.
