Rundāle Castle
Rundāle Castle is the most significant Baroque castle in Latvia, located in Rundāle county, Pilsētrundāle. The castle, designed by the Italian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli, was built from 1736 to 1768. The summer residence of the Duke of Courland and Zemgale also includes farm buildings and a park. In 1972, a castle museum opened to delight visitors with the Rose Festival and classical musical concerts every year.
