In October, Hotel Baltschug invites you to the ‘Family Dinner’ — a set menu created by the hotel's Chef Andrey Kagokin especially for the Moscow Gastronomic Festival.

From 1 to 31 October 2024, Moscow is once again hosting the Gastronomic Festival (MFG), which is traditionally supported by Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow. The festival presents to the public the achievements of the best Moscow restaurants. This year, MGF is dedicated to family traditions and memories.

The gastronomic ‘Family Dinner’ set by Chef Andrey Kagokin is inspired by the warmth of home traditions. It combines classic dishes with modern accents, creating an atmosphere of cosiness and joy for every generation. This set is an ideal solution for gathering with loved ones and enjoying family memories around a common table.

Amuse-bouche of red caviar is an exquisite start to a meal, combining the traditional flavour of a delicacy with an elegant presentation. The appetiser ‘a la vinaigrette’ with nelma is familiar to everyone. The taste of vinaigrette supplements the tender fish, giving it an unexpected and interesting accent. Cheese creamy soup with carrot chips is a rich soup with a creamy texture in which bright notes of cheese are harmoniously complemented by the light crunch of carrot chips, adding a modern zest and freshness to the dish.

There are two great options for hot dishes: marbled beef meatballs in tomato concasse with homemade pasta will delight connoisseurs of traditional cuisine, and the tender and juicy salmon fillet marinated in a fragrant Teriyaki sauce that combines sweet and savoury tastes in one dish.
A garnish of bok choy brings lightness and textural contrast. The meal is rounded off with powdered sugar mini doughnuts and wild berry jam, which evoke warm memories of homemade desserts.

This set is a great way to unite generations through a common love of food, filling family gatherings around the same table with new bright moments.

The cost of the tasting set is RUB 3,900.
When ordering the gastronomic set, we recommend a Martini Fiero and tonic cocktail for the special price of RUB 1,200.

And what if tastes do not coincide completely? Then the Chef recommends dishes to share, including lightly salted salmon rolls with crab and cream cheese (RUB 3,200), assorted spring rolls with vegetables, chicken and shrimp (RUB 3,500) and juicy pork knuckle with Bavarian-style braised cabbage (RUB 4,500). And for dessert, charlotka with apples, vanilla and almond petals (RUB 1,500).
