Celebrate Ladies’ Day in style at Hotel Baltschug with a festive brunch offering an atmosphere filled with celebration and gastronomic delights. Guests will enjoy a generous buffet prepared by the hotel’s Chef Andrey Kagokin, premium unlimited drinks, live music and exciting children’s entertainment at the Baltschug Grill restaurant.
Chef Andrey Kagokin’s menu features over a hundred dishes designed to cater to a variety of tastes.
The seafood bar delights with fresh oysters, tiger shrimps and mussels marinated in white wine, along with sturgeon, hot-smoked salmon, Baikal omul and an assortment of rolls. At the tartar station, guests can enjoy salmon and tender beef fillet tartars. The array of cold snacks is impressive, including seabass ceviche, duck liver terrine with raspberry, a salad of tiger shrimps, octopus with cranberry sauce, beef carpaccio, smoked duck breast, meat slices and a selection of cheeses.
Fans of Russian cuisine will enjoy the signature Baltschug Olivier salad, pancakes with red caviar, mushrooms and pickles, as well as pirozhki, Pozharsky bitochki and vareniki. Freshly made homemade pizzas with various toppings are baked in a traditional oven. The soup selection includes tsar’s fish soup with salmon and delicate pumpkin cream soup. At the carving station, premium ribeye with rosemary sauce and kulebyaka with salmon and champagne sauce await guests.
The hot dishes section features pasta with a choice of toppings, rack of lamb with herbs, sea trout
fillet with artichokes and asparagus, chicken parmigiano with basil sauce, grilled sea bass fillet, duck breast with cranberry sauce and seafood curry with an array of side dishes. For those with a sweet tooth, there are two dozen hot and cold desserts, including fraisier with strawberries, blueberry and lavender mousse, crème brûlée, Pavlova’s meringue with mango and passion fruit, ‘Red Velvet’ cupcakes, an assortment of ice creams and sorbets and chocolate fountain.
This year’s brunch falls at the beginning of Lent, and Chef Kagokin has ensured that guests observing the fast will find plenty of tasty and healthy options: vegetable salads and rolls, pumpkin cream soup, dumplings with potatoes and mushrooms, pasta with vegetable toppings, pies with cabbage and mushrooms, various steamed and grilled vegetables, Lenten bread and fresh fruits. Alternative drinks such as freshly squeezed juices, non-alcoholic sparkling wine, wine and beer will also be available.
