Chengdu, China – The 112th China Food and Drinks Fair (Spring Sugar and Wine Fair) took place in Chengdu from March 25th to 27th, 2025. As a major event for the food and beverage industry in China, the fair attracted numerous domestic and international brands, covering food, alcoholic beverages, and related industries.
Kempinski Hotel Chengdu, serving as a key business negotiation hotel for this spring's fair, successfully received numerous exhibitors and industry professionals from March 21st to 24th. The hotel's exhibition area focused primarily on wines, international spirits, and craft beers, attracting high-quality wine merchants from around the globe, including renowned brands from France, Italy, Spain, Australia, and other countries. Exhibiting companies such as Guangzhou Everichbourg Wine, Shanghai All Glory, Southern Brewing (Australia), and Mast-Jägermeister SE, were present, providing ample opportunities for industry professionals to taste and network.
The exhibition, held within the Kempinski Hotel Chengdu's sixth-floor exhibition hall, focused on six core areas: wines, prestigious wines, spirits, craft beers, wine accessories, and business events. It brought together over 500 high-quality exhibitors and featured more than 40 wine culture and business events, including masterclasses and industry forums. The exhibition scale was once again upgraded, with comprehensive optimization in exhibition services and business matching.
Upon entering the Kempinski Hotel Chengdu, attendees could immediately sense the comprehensive improvements made by the organizers this year in terms of exhibition flow, service experience, and security. To provide a more convenient, efficient, and comfortable viewing experience, on-site entry management was orderly, with multiple visitor channels established to effectively divert the flow of people and avoid congestion.
Four prestigious wine tasting events were held during this period, undoubtedly becoming one of the most high-profile activities during the hotel exhibition. Participants were able to taste 50 prestigious wines from 6 countries, including France, Italy, Spain, and Australia, as well as top-quality Iberian ham from Spain. At each tasting, every participant could sample at least 20 prestigious wines. Each winery showcased a variety of representative wines, allowing participants to choose different wines according to their preferences.
The exhibition site was bustling with activity and a lively atmosphere. Exquisite wines, major brands, industry pioneers, and wine enthusiasts gathered at Kempinski Hotel Chengdu to attend this annual spring wine industry event. With its five-star service standards, Kempinski Hotel Chengdu provided exhibitors and guests with high-end business negotiation spaces, personalized custom banquets, professional wine tasting venues, and other high-quality services.
