The Lady in Red - Birthday of an Icon

Timeless. Elegant. Exquisite. The Lady in Red® is the embodiment of everything Kempinski stands for: a remarkable host and an enduring symbol of the finest European luxury hospitality.

For 14 years, the Lady in Red extends a warm welcome to every guest at our constellation of beautiful havens, providing a genuinely personalised and intuitive guest experience based on cultural empathy, guest intelligence and an understanding of each individual guest’s needs.

Around the world, the Lady in Red family is instantly recognisable. Dressed in a striking and elegant red outfit that reflects the sartorial traditions in each destination, the Ladies in Red evoke an authentic sense of place and occasion, showcasing the cultural nuance and classic European elegance for which Kempinski is known worldwide.

In the years that have unfolded in Mongolia, a compelling narrative has emerged, featuring 13 remarkable Ladies in Red and one distinguished Gentleman in Red. We take immense joy and pride in every individual who has donned the role of Lady or Gentleman in Red, serving as authentic and devoted brand ambassadors throughout the ages. Today, we are delighted to introduce two of our esteemed former Ladies in Red, Ms. Odgerel, Ms. Enkhpurev and our very first Lady In Red and now acting as a Rooms Division Manager, Mrs. Bayarsuren. N. Kindly explore their insightful reflections below.

Mrs. Bayarsuren. N, Rooms Division Manager:
It fills me with immense pride to reflect on my journey as a former Lady in Red (LIR) among 150 extraordinary women worldwide. The Lady in Red moments I experienced remain etched in my memory, serving as unforgettable milestones. My Kempinski career commenced with the role of LIR, and I've since transitioned to the position of Room Division Manager. Despite the change in roles, the Lady in Red spirit remains ingrained in my heart.
Looking back, my time as an LIR was a period of significant personal and professional growth. The role equipped me with valuable skills, and the endless appreciation from both colleagues and our esteemed guests fueled my confidence. These experiences continue to energise me as I navigate my current responsibilities. I am forever grateful for the lessons learned, the confidence gained, and the cherished Lady in Red moments that have shaped my journey within Kempinski.

Ms. Enkhpurev. B, Lady In Red:
My name is Enkhuul. I am the Lady in Red at the Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace. My job is to welcome and greet guests and assist them if they are in need of guidance or advice. It gives me great pleasure to craft unforgettable experiences during your stay. I have unrivalled knowledge about the hotel and the local area, whether you are looking for tourist sites, a nice meal or just a place to take a walk. Your stay in Mongolia is my number one priority. Please call on me if I can help in any way. You can always find me in my distinctive red outfit. Thank you.

Ms. Odgerel, Lady In Red:
In August 2007, Kempinski Hotels warmly welcomed Khan Palace into its portfolio. Over the years, I've had six roles, reaching the pinnacle as Lady in Red in 2014 to being the face of the organisation appointed from Guest Relation Manager. Choosing to be Lady in Red was a passionate commitment, embodying the vision of the first Lady in Red.
Being Lady in Red was a magnificent journey. Dressing for the role stirred unique emotions. It wasn't just about being the face of the organisation; it was about unleashing energy and enthusiasm, requiring an open mindset to create moments eternally etched in memory.
I'm profoundly grateful for the enriching experiences and cherished memories this role has given me. Thank you, and may your day be blessed. For any inquiries, please feel free to reach out to us at +976 9905 2007 or [email protected].
