Exclusive works by Christian Henze – inspired by the unique flair of the palais.
Christian Henze was born in 1975, the son of the famous late Impressionist painter Ingfried Henze (Morró), who trained at the renowned Leipzig Art Academy. After the war, Christian went to the Munich Art Academy and studied under Professors Schinnerer and Gött, where he was a master student. However, Christian continued to develop his father's style and gave it a new, individual signature.
After training in Verona as a ‘Maestro d'Arte’, his artistic path took him through the world's most renowned art metropolises. His works have been exhibited in Verona, Milan, Venice, Rome, Munich, Vienna and New York – a sign of his international recognition. His style combines classical painting techniques and modern influences. His art combines his father's sense of colour with a new, expressive dynamism, particularly evident in his cityscapes and portraits of celebrities.
‘Christian Henze has created an exclusive series of paintings for the Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden that is specially tailored to the atmosphere of the palace. These works capture the combination of historical elegance and modern luxury – with powerful colours, impressive contrasts and a deep expressiveness.’ – Kristina Maria Eisermann, M.A., Gallery Director.
