The region around the Jenner is one of the most popular excursion destinations in the Berchtesgaden Alps and it is worth a visit all year round. A ride on the Jennerbahn cable car
is the ideal way to explore the area, from Königssee Lake up to the Jenner.

The Jennerbahn welcomes the new winter season and introduces an exciting new concept for even more winter fun. Discover the wide range of activities and be enchanted by the picturesque landscape: whether you want to explore the snow-covered landscape on a snowshoe hike, take a relaxing walk on one of the groomed winter hiking trails, or seek an adrenaline rush on a toboggan, there is something for everyone on the Jenner. Experienced skiers can ski on a groomed off-piste route, although there is no longer an alpine ski slope.

Winter Highlights

The Jennerbahn team invites you to join various events at the start of the season. Two
special highlights are not to be missed:

• Mountain Winter Adventure Day (20 December 2024): Enjoy an unforgettable evening on the Jenner. For just EUR 9.90, you can take a valley-to-mountain ride and indulge in musical entertainment and culinary delights until 23:30 hrs.
• Jenner by Night (28 December 2024): Experience the magic of the Jenner by night and, with a bit of luck, enjoy the starry sky. The cable car and the Jenneralm will be open until 22:00 hrs.

The equipment (poles, sledges, snowshoes) for the various activities can be hired directly from the Activity Concierge Team (snowshoes at an extra charge). Tickets for the Jennerbahn can be purchased at a reduced price of EUR 39 at the Activity Concierge Desk.
