Changsha, 10 August 2024 - A decade of commitment has shaped an extraordinary journey. On the evening of 10 August, Kempinski Hotel Changsha hosted a spectacular 10th Anniversary Celebration Dinner under the theme, ‘A Decade of Craftsmanship Achieving Perfection’.

The celebration took place in the elegant Grand Ballroom, where every detail reflected Kempinski’s signature taste for luxury. Guests stepped into an artistic and refined space that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

As night descended, a passionate flamenco performance infused the atmosphere with vibrant energy. With their exquisite skill and fervent emotions, the dancers brought a touch of European allure to the Hunan region.

Mr. Matthias Alamiry, Vice President of Operations for Kempinski Greater China and Mongolia, delivered an inspiring speech reflecting the brand’s journey in China over the past decade. He commended the hotel’s remarkable accomplishments, while Ms. Fu Ji, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Changsha, shared her ambitious vision for the future, leaving guests inspired and captivated.

Throughout the evening, interactive segments maintained a lively ambience. A champagne toast celebrated the hotel’s 10-year legacy, while exciting lucky draws delighted attendees with prizes. A cross-cultural musical performance between Western and Chinese instruments created a harmonious fusion, with the Echo Band blending of cello and guzheng in a testament to Kempinski’s brand ethos, ‘the fusion of cultures’.

An innovative ink dance performance added a poetic, dreamlike dimension. Dancers moved fluidly and expressively, merging Eastern charm with contemporary dance aesthetics. Each moment was a living work of art, with movements that conveyed profound emotion.

A highlight of the evening was the dessert show, an extravaganza for the senses that elevated the celebration’s artistic allure. Chefs showcased their creativity with stunning sugar art, chocolate sculptures and intricate desserts, exemplifying the heights of culinary artistry.
