The festival runs for a limited time from 21 February to 31 March 2025. A senior chef team from Chengdu Xiangyang Kempinski Hotel has been specially invited to oversee the event. With years of expertise in Sichuan cuisine, these chefs bring exceptional skills and extensive experience to recreate classic Sichuan dishes in their original flavours for the diners in Jinan.

During the event, guests can enjoy authentic Sichuan dishes, prepared with traditional techniques, high-quality ingredients and genuine seasonings at the Cloud View All-Day Dining Restaurant and the Cloud Spring Chinese Restaurant, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the local flavours of Sichuan. Notably, cultural elements are integrated into the Sichuan Food Festival, with classic Sichuan opera face-changing performances staged at specific times. As the essence of Sichuan opera, the face-changing art carries history and folk customs, providing a visual spectacle that helps diners appreciate the charm of Sichuan culture while promoting traditional Chinese culture.
