On December 1, 2024, the 2024 Christmas lighting ceremony of Kempinski Hotel Nanjing was successfully held at the Fang Mo Lounge on the fifth floor of the hotel, kicking off the upcoming Christmas season. More than a hundred hotel guests, important customers, media and hotel guests witnessed this wonderful ceremony. As the snow fell, the guests present entered the countdown together with Santa Claus and Santa Lady. The purple plush Christmas tree was also lit up while slowly rotating, and the entire hotel was filled with an intoxicating and joyful atmosphere.

 

At 17 p.m., the Christmas lighting ceremony kicked off in the elegant and flexible cello ensemble of Fan Qimin and her students. Adhering to the concept of the "KEMPINSKI CONCERTINI" project, Kempinski integrates local culture and art, uses the Christmas mini concert as the beginning of the event, and creates a stage for young artists to showcase their musical talents. Mr. Ansgar, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Nanjing, delivered a speech for the event and sent sincere holiday blessings to the guests present on behalf of the hotel and all colleagues. At this important moment, he deeply thanked the guests for their full support for the hotel over the past year and wished everyone a Merry Christmas!

At the lighting ceremony, the choir performance from Nanjing Wisdom Nursery was full of childlike interest and warmth. The lovely little angels sang Christmas carols to the guests present in their childish voices, sending everyone a festive joy.

Santa Claus and Santa Lady mysteriously made their appearance, bringing cheerful festive dances to the guests.“5 4 3 2 1，Merry Christmas!”As the snowflakes fell and the Christmas tree lit up, applause and cheers filled the Fang Mo Lounge. Santa Claus distributed exquisite Christmas gifts to the children at the scene, and the guests spent unforgettable moments in warm music and a strong festive atmosphere.

In addition, the hotel chef also carefully prepared a 5-meter-long Christmas Stollen for the guests, which was officially named by ZEEKR and sold on site for public welfare. The proceeds from the sale are remitted to the Be Health Charity Project Fund to provide physical and mental health support to subsidized students at Huangcaoba Primary School in Pingba Town, Wenshan City, Yunnan Province.

The meaning of Christmas is love and being loved. This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Kempinski Hotel Nanjing. The Christmas season is inspired by "5" and "Weaving Love", and purple is the main design color, opening up a dream world with atmosphere. The 5-meter-high Christmas tree was instantly lit up, and the 5-meter-long Stollen was instantly sold out. Everyone perfectly interpreted the meaning of Christmas in love and being loved.
