Melchsee-Frutt, 23 January 2025 – The start of the year is the ideal time to pause and create
space for peace and conscious moments. In light of these new beginnings, Frutt Mountain
Resort offers something that is urgently needed in our digitalised and fast-paced world: a
digital detox. Far away from the stresses of everyday life, the resort invites you to swap your
mobile phone for a book, the TV for an Alpine panorama and the hustle and bustle for peace
and relaxation.
The pressure to be constantly available is a burden for many, and yet it often seems impossible to get out of the electronic network. Whether it be for professional reasons or being reachable in emergencies - we are constantly online. Nevertheless, many would like to take a break from the hustle and bustle and dedicate a little more time for themselves, away from the frenetic pace of everyday life. At 1,920 metres above sea level, surrounded by a breathtaking Alpine panorama, Frutt Mountain Resort offers its guests a unique retreat for digital detoxification and invites them to enjoy an electronics detox. Those who simply want to be ‘offline’ and take a digital break will have the opportunity this winter to ground themselves, switch off and connect with nature.
A conscious start into 2025
‘At Frutt Mountain Resort, we strive to offer our guests a conscious new beginning with the new year - without digital distractions and with plenty of wellbeing instead. Our digital detox offer provides a unique opportunity to fully concentrate on yourself and the beauty of nature. It is an invitation to pause, recharge your batteries and consciously savour the simple but important moments in life,’ explains Cornelia Zschunke, Resort Manager at Frutt Mountain Resort. The Digital Detox offer includes several benefits that allow guests to fully immerse themselves in the experience and regenerate. At check-in, all mobile devices are handed in, allowing for the digital detox journey to begin at reception. This may be unusual at first, but it allows for a very conscious time-out. Various activities also ensure that guests can relax physically and mentally during the digital detox and mindfully set aside time for themselves.
The Digital Detox offer* includes:
Prices start from CHF 670.50 per person, per night.

About Frutt Mountain Resort: Frutt Mountain Resort, which consists of two modern hotel buildings and an attractive hideaway connected by an underground tunnel, boasts an authentic ambience and 114 rooms and suites. The interior design inspired by the lodge style stands in exciting contrast to the monolithic-like exterior façade. Modern Alpine living, natural materials made of native woods and stone of the highest quality and attractive bathrooms allow guests to unwind in a cosy atmosphere, not least thanks to the mountain resort’s two spa and wellness areas. Frutt Mountain Resort has a lot on offer gastronomically, too: whether in one of its four restaurants or the hotel bar, the kitchen and service team spoils guests with varied and contemporary food concepts. Frutt Mountain Resort is particularly delighted about the awards it has recently received: in April 2022, it was selected as Switzerland’s best four-star wellness hotel by the NZZ am Sonntag newspaper and ranked third among the 50 best four-star hotels in Switzerland in the overall vote. In addition, Melchsee-Frutt also emerged as the best ski resort in the ‘small and refined’ category in a community vote held by Blick and Switzerland Tourism.
