Geneva, 13 March 2025 – Kempinski Hotels has been recognised as a winner of the 2025 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA), marking the fourth consecutive year the company has received this prestigious accolade. This award recognises organisations that cultivate a workplace culture promoting high levels of employee engagement, well-being, and business performance.
Despite significant challenges in a rapidly evolving work environment, Gallup found that Kempinski Hotels continued to engage and develop its employees in innovative ways, setting new benchmarks for workplace excellence.
“Becoming a four-time GEWA winner is a clear testament to our mission of creating an engaging and supportive work environment for our 19,000 employees. Employee engagement is in our DNA, driving business performance, innovation and exceptional guest experiences. Having recently joined Kempinski Hotels this award humbles me and strengthens my commitment to building a positive, inclusive culture that empowers talent, nurtures creativity, and fosters a sense of belonging.” says Karin Raguin, Chief Human Resources Officer, Kempinski Hotels.
Since the first Kempinski Employee Engagement Survey in 2017, the Group has witnessed a steady improvement in engagement levels over the years. There has been a notable acceleration, with the mean engagement score climbing to 4.40 in 2021 and 4.43 in 2023. This positive trend culminated in a significant peak of 4.49 in 2024, reflecting a growing sense of connection, motivation, and satisfaction among Kempinski Hotels’ employees. The company has made substantial investments in talent selection, training, and development, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee well-being.
