Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok presents ‘Matcha Meets Macarons’, an exclusive Afternoon Tea collaboration where French elegance meets Japanese precision. Experience a refined selection of sweets crafted by Chef Franck Istel, Executive Pastry Chef of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, and Chef Yusuke Aoki, an internationally acclaimed pastry chef from Japan.

Chef Yusuke Aoki, a master of pastry artistry, has refined his craft at prestigious hotels such as The Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons, earning accolades including the Valrhona Chocolate Chef Competition World Final Winner. His creations seamlessly blend Japanese elegance with French finesse, presented in a curated selection of sweets and scones on a tiered stand. Delight in the Matcha Opera Layered Cake, where the deep, earthy notes of green tea intertwine with velvety chocolate, or savour the delicate Strawberry Verrine with Sakura Jelly, a refreshing tribute to Japan’s beloved cherry blossom season.

Complementing this experience, Chef Franck Istel, Executive Pastry Chef of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, brings over two decades of expertise in fine pâtisserie. Hailing from Strasbourg, he began his pastry journey at just 15, later opening his own boutique before expanding his artistry across the world, from St-Pierre et Miquelon to Beijing. His passion for innovation is showcased in a captivating dessert trolley experience. Indulge in the Petite Tropézienne à la Vanille & Mangue, a refined twist on the classic brioche cream pastry, or the exquisite Macaron à la Truffe Noire, infused with the luxurious depth of black truffle.

Afternoon Tea Set is available daily from 5 April to 31 July 2025

Afternoon Tea Buffet is available on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 April, and every Saturday from April to May 2025 | 13:00 to 17:00

Set: THB 2,490++ for two persons, inclusive of tea or coffee
Buffet: THB 1,850++ per person, inclusive of free-flow tea and coffee | THB 850++ per child (aged 6–12 years)
