Summer dream in the courtyard
Let yourself be magically carried away to another era in our picturesque courtyard as you enjoy the warm summer air. A grand entrance is guaranteed when you walk through the large wooden gate and a line of cheering guests. In the inner courtyard, you and your guests can toast with a glass of sparkling wine in the fine weather and then enjoy a coffee in a relaxed, Mediterranean atmosphere.

Historic staircase & Bel Etage
The historic staircase of the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden is perfect for an aperitif or reception. Experience your own personal fairytale moment as you walk down the baroque, double-flight staircase, just as Augustus the Strong and Countess Cosel once did.
The rooms on the Bel Etage offer a magnificent view of Dresden's historic old town with the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger and the Dresden Royal Palace. The elegant salons boast a ceiling heights of 3.50 metres, Murano glass chandeliers and parquet floors, providing the perfect setting for a stylish dinner.

Free wedding ceremony
Would you like to seal your love and affection once again in a very personal way? The Grand Hotel's house chapel, which can accommodate 100 guests, offers the perfect setting for your personalised vows. The chapel’s special feature is a ceiling height of nine metres, which conjures up unique and sonorous acoustics in the room. The gallery makes it ideal for a musical accompaniment to the ceremony, for example, a singer or violinist.
Tip: We will be happy to recommend a wedding speaker, pianist or photographer for your perfect ceremony, drawing on our long-standing network.
Your wedding package includes
- A welcome aperitif with a glass of sparkling wine
- Preparation of the room for dinner and for your celebration in the evening until 1:00am the following day
- Furniture and seating with white chair covers
